"Republican
presidential nominee Donald Trump said in a radio interview on Tuesday
that he thought it was “sad” that former President George W. Bush chose
not to vote for him.
“I think it’s sad, you know, when I see
George Bush do that,” Trump told host Howie Carr. “Look, I was very
critical of him for getting us into Iraq, which was obviously a horrible
decision. And getting out the way Obama got us out was a horrible way
to get out too — the combination.”
But Trump didn’t seem too worried about losing a couple of votes.
“I don’t think it has any impact, frankly,” he told Carr. “I think it has no impact.”
The
former president and his wife, Laura Bush, left the presidential
candidate section of their ballots blank, only voting for Republicans in
down-ballot races, according to CNN.”*
